What's in a Blog?

Let me start off by telling you that I am a lover of blogs.  I can look at my "favorites" for hours - sneaking peeks into other people's lives, feeling like I know them a litle bit.  I feel a connection to most of the people who write the blogs I read.  I feel happiness for them in good times.  I laugh at their funny stories.  I cry for them when something bad happens.  I even pray for them at times.  All of those things said, I wonder what makes a blog interesting.  For me, I like those blogs in which the writer has something in common with me.  For instance they may have a crazy life with younger kids, a love for beautiful pictures, tutorials on crafting and sewing.  I wonder if anyone will like this blog.  I wonder what I should write about.  All I can do is write about my life.  My husband.  My kids.  These things mean nothing much to most, but they mean everything to me.  I hope you will enjoy the pictures I post or the sewing projects I will might show off.  :)  I hope you will enjoy what I write.

  1. I am enjoying your blog already! I can say that it's nice to be able to follow you now that it's cold outside and our kids can't play in the alley together on those long weeknights. I also never realized how long you and Chuck had been together-that is truly AWESOME! Anyways-cant wait to hear what you write next! Congrats on your first blog and I'm proud to be your FIRST BLOG COMMENT! xoxo

  2. I am not a blogger but this truely touched my heart! You are a magnificant person and it was nice to read. I know we don't keep in touch as often as we wish, but I still love you-and your precious kids- as much as ever! Look forward to many many more blogs about the Davis family! Who knows this may inspire my inner blog! :) Love you lots!
